The Animal Welfare League (AWL) in Queensland takes care of over 10, 000 strayed and abandoned animals a year. The AWL receives no funding from the Australian government and relys on community for support. They mainly specialise in rehoming dogs and cats, giving shelter and care to them. The AWL also awares the community about how to stop the tragedy over pet overpopulation. The AWL will soon not be able to continue the great work and caring for the communitys strayed animals unless they receive finacial support from the community. Every time the AWL rehomes a pet the approximate cost is $500.

Hi Ashleigh,
ReplyDeleteIt is looking good so far but I think you probably need to write a post that explains what you are doing and why you have set up this Blog about the AWL. That way if people are looking at the Blog they will realize that this is not the official site of the AWL.
Keep up the good work,
Miss Leeson.
